Salt Print Recipe
An alt-photographic process originating in 1834 by William Henry Fox Talbot.
My current Recipe (January 2021):
Salting:
100% sol Loch Nevis, Scotland sea-water +
2g Sodium Citrate
Sensitiser:
1ml 10% sol Silver Nitrate +
1ml 6% sol Citric Acid
24 min Exposure - The exposure can vary from print to print. As little as 5 min’s to one half hour.
1st wash in sea-water
2nd wash tap water
Fix: Sodium Thiosulphate
3rd wash tap water
